Adventures with Seth Goldman

I have had the pleasure to create one of the most detailed and
well-thought-out coats yet in my career, and it's all thanks to
Seth Goldman and Game of Thrones Season 7, Episode 6.

Daenary's Winter Coat. My inspiration.

For me, Winter officially came
My jaw hit the floor after seeing that episode
that features Daenerys White Coat. 
And so did Seth's. 
​It was not even an hour later
I received a message from him stating that he needed that coat.​

I immediately went to work~ gathering ideas and meeting up with Seth to sketch things out and take measurements. We both knew we wanted something inspired from and similar in some ways but not exact. I spent hours figuring out the technique on scraps of fur and trim. After researching, it was time to develop. Shopping for this coat in DTLA was a dream. There is nothing better than finding the fabrics that were in the brain. Once I got home it was GO time.

This coat took about one month to make all together. Seth appreciated my work and time put into this magnificent beast, and I appreciate him for believing in me.  

Afterward, of course, I had-to-needed-to-wanted-to-do a photo-shoot.
The timing was spot on for Seth's photo-shoot to be my first of the 52 challenge.

Scouting

Adventures

​Scouting the location was so much fun. The greater Los Angeles area has so much to offer, especially after the fire and the rains this last season. This is what El Matador looked like.

Annnnd after we were done playing with the fuzz, we decided to take advantage of the epic location and killer sunset and take some more amazing shots! (I mean, how could I NOT ​)
