Appreciating the blossoming bud for what it is,
In that time and space and stage of its life and accepting it.
Not looking at what it was yesterday,
or what it could become once fully bloomed.
Just, and simply, and only,
Appreciating the now.
And Loving, feeling, being completely submerged
And That, that is what taking time for yourself is like.
changing perspective of mundane things
is one of my favorite past time things to do. This week- week 4- I took the camera around the yard, capturing springs awakenings, rocks and reflections. I got lucky with the rain ~again. Adding an extra sleek and shimmer onto the subjects. Giving me life~ especially when it came to my rock garden. As you can see, the colors are bursting! I love this garden so much too! It has taken me years now, but I have been collecting and adding to it from up & down the California beaches.
How did this winter scene end up in my rainy
I love macro images, and I love making images out of something you would never see or know what it was unless told. . . This image is from a metalic spray painted glass from a picture frame.
